The cottage sits in an isolated
corner of Loch Katrine
and was originally used as a Blacksmith's workshop. Hence, locals
affectionately referred to her as 'the old smiddy'.
Recently converted, the Old Smiddy is now a three bedroom cottage (1
double, 2 twin) able to sleep up to six people and
fitted with central heating. In addition to the downstairs w/c, the
upstairs bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower.
Beautifully decked in a white oak flooring with a
log burning fire. Smiddy combines all its original beauty with modern
comfort - and provides views of the loch from every room.
